Phone number data collection

Add a dedicated phone field to capture a validated number during a run. The value can be reused in variables and features like Send SMS on Step Completion.

Setup

1. Edit a step and add a Phone Number field.
2. Optionally set it as required.
3. Save. During the run, users enter a number (auto-validated & formatted).

Usage

• Reference with variables (e.g., {{CustomerPhone}}) in messages, notes, or automations.
• Target recipients for SMS notifications using the captured phone field.
• Filter/search runs using the phone value to find related records quickly.

Validation & Format

• Supports US and Canada numbers only.
• Prevents common input errors (invalid length, non-numeric).
